York
We travel to York, renowned for its medieval Roman architecture and quaint cobbled streets. Visit the iconic York Minster or the Jorvik Viking Centre (admission not included), where visitors journey through the reconstruction of Viking-Age streets, as they would have been 1000 years ago. Or simply take a relaxing walk along the river and enjoy the city’s vibrant cafe culture and street entertainers.
Thirsk & Ripon
We firstly visit Thirsk, a traditional Yorkshire market town with cobbled streets. This charming town is a delight to wonder round and shop. Later we spend some time in Ripon, known as the unspoilt cathedral city of the Yorkshire Dales. Attractions include the fourteenth century castle.
