Sailing from Liverpool, we will cross the Irish Sea to the cosmopolitan city of Belfast, which has enjoyed an astonishing regeneration and long left its troubled past behind. After a memorable day at sea, you will explore Orkney’s charming and historic capital Kirkwall before continuing to mainland Scotland to discover Invergordon in the Highlands, surrounded by stunning scenery and close to legendary Loch Ness. Finally, you will dock in Dundee: the perfect city destination in the heart of Scotland, with its award-winning cultural attractions, bars, restaurants, shops and cafés. This five night cruise sails from Liverpool, has three ports of call and visits two countries before ending the journey at Dundee.
HOLIDAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Our coach heads to Liverpool to join the Ambition Cruise Ship. There will be time to settle in before dinner and evening entertainment.
Day 2: Our ship arrives in Belfast, Northern Ireland's capital, revealing a vibrant cityscape interwoven with history. From the old docklands of the Titanic Quarter to dynamic neighbourhoods filled with mural art, Belfast offers endless opportunities to explore.
Day 3: Enjoy a day at sea. These days are the perfect opportunity to explore the ship, relax and unwind and spend quality time with those around you. Whether you pamper yourself in the Green Sea Spa, experience all the outstanding cuisine we have onboard, enjoy our amazing entertainment in the Palladium and other venues, attend a class or talk or play games with friends or family, there’s something for everyone.
Day 4: Our ship arrived in Kirkwall. Norse and Scottish history intertwine in Kirkwall on the windswept Orkney Isles. Stroll down historic streets, explore medieval ruins, and embrace the rugged beauty of this Scottish town amidst the North Sea.
Day 5: A day visiting Invergordon, on Scotland's east coast, is rich in maritime history and Highland charm. Take a leisurely stroll along historic quaysides, explore coastal viewpoints, and experience the authentic Scottish atmosphere of this port town along the Cromarty Firth.
Day 6: Ambition arrives in Dundee leaving only a short journey home by coach.
