HOLIDAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Our coach heads to Dundee to join the Ambition Cruise Ship. There will be time to settle in before dinner and evening entertainment.
Day 2: Enjoy a day at sea. These days are the perfect opportunity to explore the ship, relax and unwind and spend quality time with those around you.
Day 3: Get a true taste of life on the Faroe Islands in Runavik. Explore the historic harbour, take in the stunning landscapes on scenic hikes, and sample local cuisine at charming cafes, all easily accessible from the port.
Days 4-6: Day at sea. Whether you pamper yourself in the Green Sea Spa, experience all the outstanding cuisine we have onboard, enjoy our amazing entertainment in the Palladium and other venues, attend a class or talk or play games with friends or family, there’s something for everyone.
Day 5 is a day at sea like no other. Witness a total solar eclipse from our cruise ship, Ambition, in the most spectacular of settings. With its dramatic scenery and diverse natural attractions, Please note, viewing of the Solar Eclipse is subject to local weather conditions.
Day 7: Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, beckons with its Nordic elegance and Arctic wonders. Take in the stunning architecture of the Hallgrimskirkja church, soak in the nearby Blue Lagoon’s geothermal waters, and explore the city’s vibrant street art scene against a brisk North Atlantic backdrop.
Day 8: Dramatic landscapes and a charming Icelandic village await in Grundarfjordur. Hike beneath the iconic Kirkjufell mountain, explore the surrounding fjords, and soak in Iceland’s rugged, windswept beauty.
Day 9: Relax at sea and enjoy the on-board entertainment.
Day 10: One of the most picturesque villages in Iceland, Seydisfjordur offers the chance to explore colourful streets, witness cascading waterfalls just outside town, and marvel at the Eastern Region’s spectacular fjords.
Day 11: A day at sea – perhaps enjoying the beautiful spa facilities.
Day 12: Lerwick, nestled in the Shetland Isles, whispers tales of Vikings and Scottish history. Take leisurely walks through its winding streets, learn the history of lighthouse-keeping at Bressay Lighthouse, and breathe in the salty North Atlantic breezes atop the Knab promontory.
Day 13: Our last day at sea with your final opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Ambition.
Day 14: Ambition arrives back in Dundee where your coach will meet you to take you back to your local area and our Door to Door* service can take you to your home
